It is Ooty’s most frequented tourist sport.The Marquis of Tweedale established the garden in 1847.The agricultural Department of Tamil Nadu government now maintains it.During the season(May,June)the garden is the venue of the Annual Flower Show .The garden is spread over 55 acres.
